Carlo Gamper Cardinali
Master Of Science Biocontrol Solutions for Plant Health - BOOST   Université Côte d'Azur

Carlo Gamper Cardinali is an agronomist who graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP), at the prominent Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ). He completed a Specialization course in Sugarcane management and later an MBA degree from “Fundação Getulio Vargas” (FGV).

Working for FMC Corporation for almost 11 years in the crop protection industry, he had the opportunity to research and develop plant protection technologies.  He helped on building-up technical information to support the launch of a new bionematicide, a herbicide, and an insecticide.

Throughout his career, he gained experience and interest in the area of non-chemical control strategies, joining the Master of Science Biocontrol Solutions for Plant Health (MSc BOOST) at the Université Côte D´Azur, to foster his knowledge in this area. The MSc BOOST training takes place in the laboratories of the Sophia Agrobiotech Institute (Researchers from Université Côte D´Azur, INRA, and CNRS), allowing him to be in touch with the state-of-the-art technologies for biocontrol.
