Teresa Soriano holds a Law Degree and a Master’s Degree in Administrative and Regulatory Law. She has completed several specialized diploma programs, including Health Law, Regulatory Compliance, Transparency and Anti-Corruption, Human Rights, Constitutional Injunctions, and Administrative Litigation.
Within the Mexican public sector, she served as legal counsel in several federal agencies, including the Ministry of Communications and Transportation, the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA), the Ministry of Agrarian Reform, and the National Agrarian Registry.
In the private sector, she has collaborated with law firms specialized in agrochemical and agricultural input regulations, advised on public affairs matters, and served as Director of a COFEPRIS Authorized Third Party specialized in advertising compliance. She has also actively advised national and international companies regulated by COFEPRIS.
Currently, she leads Regulatory Affairs in Life Sciences (RAILS), a consultancy firm specialized in regulatory affairs, legal advisory, compliance, and international trade for companies operating in regulated sectors such as agrochemicals, biologicals, plant nutrition, and agricultural inputs in Mexico.
